My name is Chris Montgomery (a.k.a. “Monty”), and I am the creator of Monty’s Tech Blog. I am a software engineer located in the Boise, ID metro area and am currently employed at a non-profit organization. In 2013, I received a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, with a minor in Mathematics, and I went on to obtain a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University in 2018.
The areas of computer science I have a lot of interest in include software security, artificial intelligence, and graphics. When I am not programming, I like to play the piano, hike along scenic trails, swing wicked forehands on the tennis court, and follow my favorite sports teams. (Go Mariners!) I am also an avid online gamer.
